WATER IS LIFE!
Dr. Colin and Dienie Stewart visited one of our primary schools in a drought stricken part of Swaziland and were moved by the plight of 520 students not being able to access clean drinking water at their school. They returned to Scotland and sent us enough funding to supply five primary schools with boreholes. Playpumps SA agreed to supply these schools with playpumps free of charge. |

SAHEE Foundation - sustainability for agriculture, health, education and environment
SAHEE are financially supporting the ‘Home based support and skills development program’. This program benefits 32 orphans and vulnerable children living in the Malkerns / Mahlanya area. The children are living in child headed or elderly headed homesteads, or have been fostered within the community. The project aims to integrate basic physical requirements (food, accommodation, medical needs and clothing) with psycho social support and skills development. Activities include regular monitoring of the children and their home environment and workshops covering life skills, psychosocial care and creative activities. The goal of the workshops is, amongst others, to develop emotional resilience, self esteem, practical living skills, how to keep healthy, good citizenship, community spirit and a sense of purpose in life.
